Pakayla Biehn

San Francisco artist, Pakayla Biehn, developed these beautiful images through a method known as double exposure photography. According to Biehn, she uses double exposure photographs as reference images, then paints them onto blank canvases. The end product is a very abstract and detailed portrait. 1. Hi there. Thanks for posting pictures of my paintings, however, just to be clear I do not paint over images. I used the double exposures as reference images and paint on blank canvases. The way you worded this might be a bit confusing. Thanks!

  3. Ok thanks for clearing that up. I received my information from another source and was still a bit confused, myself. Btw, I am truly a fan of your work. Thanks for taking the time to see my post.
