The stars came out this week showing off their best outfits for the People's Choice Awards and the Critic's Choice Awards. Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Charlize Theron, Elle Fanning, and Elizabeth Olsen were a few of the many celebs that showed up at the ceremonies kicking off this year's award season. Emma Stone attended the the People's Chioce Awards in an underwhelming piece from Gucci's Spring 2012 collection. The fit was just all over the place and not well put together. However, the look appears to look so much better on the runway. This just seems to be a case of bad styling.
Here's another star that had a hit and miss, Chloe Moretz, The young actress looked cute in a Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2010 black and green tweed dress at the People's Chioce but failed to deliver in a costume like chanel gown at the Crtics Chioce Awards. In an akward turn of events, unlike emma stone, I prefer her redcarpet look over the runway with the dracula collar. But that's not saying much.This was not the best chioce for the young actress, but she is young and has plenty of time to grow
By the way, it seems like she is not so far from her fashion growth spurt as she made a good decision wearing a Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2010 to the People's Chioce awards and Dolce & Gabbana Mary Jane heels.
Evan Rachael Wood wore a statuesque Valentino Spring 2012 gown to the Critics Choice Awards. The black gown is classic and simple embroidery is a nice touch.
"The Help" star, Ahna O’Reilly attended the Critic Chioce Awards wearing a fairy-tale like Honor Spring 2012 dress. Is it just me or does this dress give off Disney pricess vibe. Although im not a fan of O'reilly's look on the carpet, she made a good decision by reducing the width of the skirt and toning down the yellow.
Elle Fanning, who is sweeping through every nomination this award season wore a Spring 2012 Rodarte gown. Im not sure how I feel about this look. I cant quit put my finger on what I like or don't link about the dress but I applaud her for taking a risk on the carpet, and it is Rodarte, so the print comes as no surprise.
Miley Cyrus was in attendance at the People's Choice Awards wearing a David Koma Spring 2012 dress. I actually like this look on her. The curtain detailing in the front provides a modern and fresh look I also like the subtle hints of shear fabric. The star finished her look with a pair of Jimmy Choo Tippi leather pumps.
Elizabeth Olsen is not too far from her older sisters when it comes to fashion. The star graced the red carpet of the Critic's Chioce Awards in a Spring 2012 Emilio Pucci mini dress and Pucci heels.
Michelle Williams showed up to the Critic's Choice Awards wearing wore a Chanel Resort 2012 dress and a Chanel clutch.
Charlize Theron graced the red carpet in an all black Azzedine Alaia Fall 2011 gown. The gown featured a ruffled bottom, for a classic 1940's inspired look.
Actress, Ginnifer Goodwin was sure to stand out at the People's Choice awards in a hot pink Roksanda Ilincic dress from the Spring 2012 collection.
Jennifer Morrison looked amazing at the 2012 People's Choice in a classic Spring 2012 Oscar Del la Renta embroidered gown.
