Today marks the release of the limited-edition eyewear collection by French based brand, Moncler and Berlin eyewear company, Mykita. The collection combines fashion and functionality, with its attention to style and scientific innovation. The collection falls primarily under mountainwear to meet the needs of those who like to stay active and fashionable in the cold, and often harsh, winter season. Similar to most Mykita designed eyewear, the glasses are constructed from polymid-based MYLON and have mineral glass lenses. According to Remo Ruffini, director of Moncler, "The idea was to do a very special project... It took more than one year to find the perfect balance between innovation and technology." The collection comes in two designs , "Lino" and "Achille", and are each avaliable in black, red, and blue. Do these seem like a great alternative to the typical ski shade? Give your thoughts after the jump.
