Chanel fashion house director, Karl Lagerfeld grabs inspiration from India for his Chanel Paris-Bombay fashion show held at the Grand Palais in Paris, France. From jeweled head pieces to embroideries of pearl and gold, the collection is no short of royalty. The fashion visionary, credited his Indian haute couture collection to the stylish elements of traditional Indian garments, stating that, "India is the one country where even the poor have something very chic about them," Lagerfeld continued to give praise to fashion in india proclaiming that "the poorest women will have two three bangles, an elegant pink sari.
